The Malawi Mega Farm Legacy Investment Programme provides a strategic framework for attracting large-scale agricultural investment, expanding commercial production and strengthening Malawi’s position as a regional food basket.

The programme is anchored around commercial production, smallholder integration, processing and markets, with opportunities for anchor firms and investors across seven priority value chains. The programme includes access to approximately 470,000 hectares of government land available for investment.
